FAMILY PERSONAL ASSISTANT (PART-TIME | REMOTE / TWIN CITIES)
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Family Personal Assistant to support a busy household with research, planning, scheduling, and administrative tasks. This is a flexible, part-time role (mostly remote) ideal for a strong college student, recent graduate, or experienced administrative professional looking for meaningful, flexible work. However, any qualified person can apply.
LOCATION
Central Time zone in the US. Most work is remote, but occasional local tasks may be required.
HOURS
Approximately 5–15 hours per week

Long-term potential for increased hours based on performance
COMPENSATION
$15-18 per hour, depending on experience and demonstrated ability
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Research & Planning • Research local children's activities, camps, classes, sports, and events
• Identify and compare family-friendly vacation destinations, hotels, and excursions
• Evaluate options based on cost, quality, convenience, and suitability
• Provide clear recommendations with structured summaries and clickable links
Scheduling & Coordination • Schedule medical, dental, and other family appointments
• Make phone calls to offices, providers, and service businesses when needed
• Coordinate calendars and manage reminders and follow-ups
Administrative Support • Organize information into clear, easy-to-read formats
• Create documents, spreadsheets, or summaries with structured recommendations
• Track tasks, deadlines, and ongoing family needs
• Maintain accuracy and follow through on open items
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written English communication skills
• Ability to independently research and synthesize information
• Comfortable making phone calls and interacting with service providers
• High level of reliability and follow-through
• Proficiency with Google Docs, Google Sheets, and basic digital tools
• Comfortable using AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) to improve research quality and efficiency
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• College student or recent graduate (especially in business, communications, education, or related fields)
• Prior experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, tutor, or project coordinator
• Experience planning travel, events, or family logistics
• Strong ability to structure and present information clearly
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Fluent in English. You enjoy researching options, organizing information, and turning complexity into clear recommendations. You are proactive, reliable, and take pride in producing polished, useful outputs that make decision-making easier. Must be detail-oriented.
WORK STYLE
This is a flexible, independent role. You will be expected to manage your own time, ask clarifying questions when needed, and deliver high-quality, well-organized outputs without heavy oversight.
